Provisional launch waitlist privacy notice
Effective August 25, 2026. This notice is operated for just-build-this.app and applies only to the Ritual Investing launch waitlist.
What your submission means
A waitlist submission is provisional and unverified. It records your assertion that you would like to be eligible for a future launch contact. It does not prove mailbox ownership, subscribe you to a newsletter, or mean that an email was sent.
We will not use the address for launch contact unless a future mailbox confirmation workflow succeeds. That confirmation workflow is outside this first release.
The active record is deliberately small
The active waitlist row contains only:
- your normalized email address,
- this notice version, and
- the server submission timestamp.
The active row does not contain a name, profile, account, investment preferences, demo activity, referral attribution, or proof of mailbox ownership.
Who processes the request
Cloudflare serves the site and applies request security controls. Cloudflare Turnstile supplies an abuse signal for the waitlist request. A dedicated Neon Postgres project stores the minimal active row. These services process the technical request needed to provide and protect the waitlist.
Ritual Investing’s application events are designed around allowlisted outcome categories, not the submitted email, Turnstile token, request body, raw IP address, or user agent.
Retention, removal, and restores
Each provisional row is scheduled for purge before 24 months in the active store. The operational cutoff is 23 months and 29 days so the active row does not cross the 24-month limit.
To request removal, write to privacy@just-build-this.app from the address concerned. The verified-removal workflow first verifies mailbox possession, then performs an idempotent, non-enumerating removal. Waitlist activation is blocked until that privacy mailbox is operationally verified.
Provider restore history can temporarily contain older database states. Before a restored waitlist may receive traffic, retention rules and independently retained verified-removal records must be replayed. The restored row must not reactivate an address that was removed or expired.
Your choices
Joining is optional. You can explore the public story and the disposable Demo without joining. If this notice changes, a new notice identifier will be used; the meaning of a previously accepted record will not be rewritten.
